Excellent selection of cards in a tiny space.

As a boy, I hated the card buying process, but I do enjoy

The Papery’s selection and friendly service.

Tiny little place in Bonnie Brae neighborhood, as big as a

closet, so small you can’t even “swing a cat”, an expression I

heard about  hotel room in Paris... but The Papery is chock full

of cards, stationery, note pads, wrapping.  The best part are the

people who help you... This is the kind of place I love to do business

with, small neighborhood shop, a great place to hunt for little treasures,

especially note cards that make you feel good when you send them

and make you want to send more... which is good!

It’s true that great things come in small packages. For proof, look no

further than this delightful stationery boutique that, while barely bigger

than a broom closet, is stacked to the rafters with whimsy invitations, unique greeting cards and flirty wrapping paper.

You won’t find standard Hallmark stock here. Instead, the cluttered shop is bedecked with a huge assortment of hand-painted cards, many of which are designed by local artists.

Invitations from luxury designers like Crane, William Arthur and Elite share space with note cards, journals, and pens, and there’s an impressive selection of both individual and boxed holiday cards, including Caspari.
